Thursday

So we were quite busy today and, as can happen, some of the pictures I thought I took are not appearing :(.  We attempted to make some waffles but they did not turn out!  Luckily, Nash brought in some cookies for us to decorate and that was very fun and festive, thank you!  Below, we attempted to give Lila a group-hug, as she is moving at the first of the year - we will miss her! We enjoyed playing Spill the Beans again. And we wrapped our gifts for our parents. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!  See you in 2019!

Wed

We used oil pastels to create colorful stand-up Christmas trees today... We played with the play dough for a long time and decorated graham crackers to eat! Dougie really loves to push the stuffed animals around in our cart. Have a Happy Holiday!  See you in 2019!

Tues AM

The kids played "doctor's office." We love using Miss Jill's pastry cutter with the play dough.  Isaac wrote his entire name for the first time by himself at school!! Milestone! We played the game Don't Spill the Beans and enjoyed reading a shadow version of The Polar Express.

Tues PM

We wrapped our gifts for our parents.  The whole gang enjoyed going on a "trip" together, below. We enjoyed using some festive cookie cutters with playdough and also made cards for our parents. The preschoolers laughed at the antics in The Cat in the Hat and we learned  how to play the game, Don't Spill the Beans...

Holiday Party Pics!

Holiday Party! What a joy it was for Miss Jill to have such a range of families, current and past all together for some joy and mingling!  I am so darn fortunate to have this exceptional community around me.  Thank you for coming!

Monday

The children seemed almost starving to play act today!  They took a long journey on a vehicle that they said could to everything - from floating to flying!  Then a monster was chasing them and we had some rowdy behavior.  I think it might be holiday time!  Also Drew and Juno are getting very independent with the cuisenaire rods and Isaac wrote his whole name at school for the first time!!!! We did some secret gift making of which you will get the results Wednesday.  Kiyo's family gave us a fun seasonal book about Santa visiting Colorado, we enjoyed reading it and recognizing some of the places.  Thank you! The weather was quite warm so we ran up and down the ramp.
