Today we made homemade chocolate chip cookies for the holiday party on Saturday!
The children were very industrious when they arrived and many of them created some nice drawings we decided to put into our folders. Some of our older children are learning to sound out words to label their drawings. Drew sounded out the consonants for her drawing of a VOLCANO! Yay!
Below we threw "indoor" fabric snowballs at each other while our cookies cooked.
It is certainly "that time of year" where the children are expressing some wonderful skills that we will indeed facilitate after the holiday break. Juno and Drew have been working on reading some early readers!
Fantastic pattern, Kiyo!
