Thank you Momo's family for lending us their blender so we could make whipped cream for the hot chocolate for Saturday and also for the BEAUTIFUL pointsettia plant!
We were captivated by the digger digging a hole for the new house across the alley.
We painted the red stripes for our "North Pole!"
In pictures below, in recognition of some of our families that celebrate Hanukkah, as well as to broaden our horizons, we created a makeshift Menorah today, and made "donuts" in oil. I explained to the children in simple terms how the oil is important and thus utilized in many recipes during the celebration. Because it was very hot oil, the children cleaned up while the dough cooked!
We also made wrapping paper to wrap our gifts for our parents next week...
